You can make any page on the World Wide Web the first page you see whenever
you start your browser. Follow the instructions below for your browser
to set the Hawaii Start Page to your Start page. When you are done, you
will always be able to reach the Hawaii Start Page by clicking the Home
button on your browser toolbar.
To make the Hawaii Start Page your default home page
In Internet Explorer 5 & 6:
- Open the Hawaii Start Page.
- On the Tools menu, click Internet
Options.
- In the Home page area, click Use
Current.
- Click OK.
In Internet Explorer 4.x:
- Open the Hawaii Start Page.
- On the View menu, click Internet
Options.
- In the Home page area, click Use
Current.
- Click OK.
In Internet Explorer 3.x or earlier:
- Open the Hawaii Start Page.
- On the View menu, click Options.
- Click the Navigation tab.
- Click Use Current.
- Click OK.
In Internet Explorer 4.x, Macintosh Edition:
- On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- In the list on the left of the dialog
box, click the Home/Search button (under Web Browser).
- Click Use Default.
- Click OK.
In Internet Explorer 3.x, Macintosh Edition:
- On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- In the list on the left of the dialog
box, click the Home/Search button (under Web Browser).
- Click Use Default.
- Click OK.
n Netscape Navigator 4.x and Mozilla:
- Open the Hawaii Start Page.
- On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- From the Category list, select
Navigator.
- In the Home Page box, click Use
Current Page.
- Click OK.
In Netscape Navigator 3.x:
- On the Options menu, click General
Preferences.
- Click the Appearance tab.
- Click the Home Page Location option.
- Type yi.org/hawaii in the Your
Browser Starts With text box.
- Click OK.
